The Talon S&W Shield Taurus PT709 9/40 IWB, Inside the Waistband, Holster is completely American made from U.S. steer hide and designed by law enforcement instructors for concealed carry. This IWB Holster is designed to hide pistols inside the pants with just the grip and top of the holster exposed. Just wear a shirt of jacket untucked to hide the top. These custom molded holsters fit the individual listed pistol only. Some of these are made with the rough side out and some the smooth side out, check the photos. Some break in may be needed, like any leather product. The holster should be worn with the slide towards the front of the body and the grip facing the rear.     When I replaced my carry gun to the S&W Shield from the LC9 I got this holster. I had the LC9 holster and it has never failed to keep me happy so I looked no where else but Talon. The holster for Shield fits great and holds in place and is easily concealable under shirt.

    I have just received this holster, All I can say is finally, I finally found the one!!!! After a drawer full of others, this is it, I wish I would have found this company first, now I have them bookmarked for in the future. The holster fits a little tight at first but seems to break in fast, I would definitely recommend this holster, trust me after trying most others this is the one.

    When I first received the holster I was worried about. However, I have been wearing for the past two weeks and enjoy every minute of it. I wera it at the the 5 o'clock postion and you can not tell it is there. It keeeps a tight fit on the fire arm and is very comfortable when driving.A very well made holster at a good price
